I miss the old days
I really do. Not only the WWW, its chat rooms, forums, and all those personal websites built by people who simply wanted to share their passion with anyone and everyone landing on their page but also Usenet, IRC, ICQ and even the truly ancient BBS era.
It felt like a (huge) village.
We're now stuck in some sort of big corporate theme park. Just like the Disney castle, built solely to look and feel vaguely like the real deal just to flood us with advertisements.
